Linda Eisenstein (playwright) is one of this country's most produced lesbian playwrights. Her plays and musicals have been performed throughout the US, and in England, Australia, Canada, South Africa, and the Philippines. She is a three-time recipient of Ohio Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowships for Three the Hard Way and her musicals Star Wares: The Next Generation and Discordia (with James Levin). Other prizes include the Gilmore Creek Award (Three the Hard Way), Sappho’s Symposium Competition (The Names of the Beast), an All-England Festival Prize (Marla’s Devotion), Get to the Point Short Play Contest (Revelation 24:12) and the West Coast Ten-Minute Play Competition (A Rustle of Wings). She has been a finalist for the Jane Chambers Competition (Rehearsing Cyrano), the Heideman Award (Higher), and the Midwest Play Competition (The Last Red Wagon Tent Show in the Land). Her short plays and monologues have been widely published in anthologies (Dramatic, Vintage, Penguin, Smith & Kraus, Heinemann, & Meriwether) and journals (Blithe House Quarterly, Anything That Moves, Harrington Lesbian Fiction Quarterly). Linda is a member of the Cleveland Play House Playwrights’ Unit, the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc., ASCAP, and the International Center for Women Playwrights. She lives in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mark Finley (TOSOS II artistic director; director, Acme Temporary Services; Gentrification; A Rustle of Wings) Directing credits for TOSOS II include three Chris Weikel plays: Speaking Parts, Gareth & Lynette and Penny Penniworth; four Doric Wilson plays: A Perfect Relationship (2003 oobr Award), Street Theater and readings of The West Street Gang and Now She Dances!; his adaptation of Young Stowaways in Space; and Kevin Brofsky's Dancing Straight. His own play How Do We Get Her in the Water? opened Movie Lover, a Triple Feature. Mark has directed for Abingdon, Emerging Artists Theatre and NativeAliens, and is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts.
Rebecca Longworth (director, F2F; That Was No Lady from the Sea; Zombie Grrlz from the Crypt). Directing credits for TOSOS II: a reading of That Was No Lady From the Sea and Zombie Grrlz From the Crypt (Robert Chesley/Jane Chambers Playwright’s Project). Other NYC credits: William Donnelly’s Best Man (Thermodynamic Theater Co.), Olivia Kienzel’s Eliot & Estlin (2003 New York International Fringe Festival), Ellen McLaughlin’s Tongue of a Bird (Woman Seeking… Theater), C.C. Seymour’s Bang! (Surf Reality), and Twelfth Night (the Willful Company). A member of the Willful Company from 2000-2001, and Woman Seeking… Theater from 2001-2004, she is a co-founder of 3Graces Theater Company, which begins its inaugural season on November 4. She is a graduate of Wellesley College and its Shakespeare Society, the USA’s oldest all-female Shakespeare troupe. Rebecca holds an MA in Text & Performance Studies from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and King’s College London, where she directed and choreographed a workshop of Federico García Lorca’s Once Five Years Pass . Rebecca is General Management Associate at New York City Center, producer of the acclaimed City Center Encores! series and the Fall for Dance Festival.
